Case Study - Fargo Youth Hockey Association
In the fall of 2023, Fargo Youth Hockey Association embarked on ajourney to modernize their tournament operations by integratingGameSheet into their events. What challenges did you face prior to adopting GameSheet?
Before adopting GameSheet, our tournament operations faced several challenges. Manual scorekeeping processes were time-consuming, prone to errors, and difficult to manage. Paper score sheets often went missing or contained illegible information. Roster management was cumbersome, with handwritten rosters and missing roster stickers. Additionally, limited reporting capabilities made it challenging to track penalties and manage player suspensions.

Describe your implementation experience with the GameSheet system.
With GameSheet, we found a user-friendly solution that simplified our scorekeeping process and elevated the professionalism of our tournaments. The decision to use GameSheet was influenced by recommendations from other associations. Background
The FYHA was established in 1988 and was formed to facilitate the development of hockey skillsfor all the youth of Fargo. The FYHA has been the parent organization for the "Fargo Freeze"since 2011. In 2011 the Fargo Flyers, Fargo Raiders, and Fargo All-City officially merged underthe FYHA name and now serve over 900 families in Fargo North Dakota. FYHA hosts eighttournaments annually, including the highly esteemed Squirt International Tournament whichfeatures 256 teams over four weekends, totaling 664 games. Their primary goal is to providetop-tier tournaments with a seamless experience for players, coaches, and spectators.
